Each summer, students from all over the world come to Ottawa to learn English at Carleton University through the Ottawa International Projects and Exchanges. They live with host families and get taken around the city to do fun activities like go bowling. 
Last week, a group from Colombia came to CUAG for a tour of our summer show, “An Embarrassment of Riches,” do some drawing inspired by Cynthia Girard’s painting “Louis Riel” and laugh at my terrible pronunciation of words like ‘escultura’ and ‘silencio por favor!’
